Every measurement is repeatable and published with its raw data, so a result can be traced back to exactly what was tested.

Lab speed is the median of several Lighthouse runs under fixed network and CPU conditions, comparable between runs but not identical to any single visit.
Accessibility scans run with reduced motion on, so every element is checked in its final, visible state.
Security headers are graded by MDN HTTP Observatory against the live site.
